Nice Blog Editor – ScribeFire Extension for Firefox

In my search for a nice, easy to use blog editor to free me from being forced to use the built-in editor with my blog software I found ScribeFire.  Unlike other blog editors, ScribeFire is an extension (plug-in) for Firefox.  Aside from being easy to use, I’ve found that the editor itself being an extension is extremely useful.  For example, while surfing the web I may find a news article or piece of software that I’d like to make a post about (just like this! :)), all I have to do is press F8 to envoke ScribeFire.  Immediately, the editor is displayed in the lower half of the browser.  All the typcial features are available, as well as the ability to add customized editor tags.  I highly recommend it, visit the ScribeFire homepage by following the link below and clicking on the “Install ScribeFire Now”link.

NOTE:  After installing ScribeFire and running it for the first time, you will be presented with the option to register for “ScribeFire QuickAds”, this is voluntary and declining to register does not affect the functionality of the program.
